Welcome to my blog. My name is Sean. Ive been a professional painter for the past 30 years and I’m finally getting a bit old for all the reaching, stooping and stretching. So because of that I’ve decided to embark on a different venture. I will creating a painting academy, teaching people how to paint houses and offices. Being a painter is easy but being a great painter is very difficult. There is so much to learn, so many materials and pieces of equipment to perfect and of course so many different types of surface that you will be expected to know how to paint perfectly every time.
Anyone who says painting requires little or no skill, really doesn’t know what they are talking about. In fact in my time I’ve only ever really seen a handful of painters who actually cared enough to be great. That’s also a bit of a shame.
So Supporting Careers will be primarily concerned with teaching anyone and everyone how to paint houses. Whether you are looking to do some DIY and paint your bathroom or whether you are a young person looking to learn a trade or even an older person looking for a career change, then this is the website for you.
