The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Management is a three-stage management programme designed specifically for people working in, or seeking management positions in Human Services/Non-profit organisations.
The programme consists of key subjects that will equip people with the knowledge and skills to manage and lead confidently and effectively in the modern professional person-centred service.
An approved HETAC award is conferred for each stage in the programme. A certificate for year one, a higher certificate for year two; and the third and final year is the Bachelor of Arts, which is placed at level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
The Certificate in Applied Management is suitable for managers, deputy managers and supervisors or those aspiring to such roles, of two or more staff. Here, people learn the core skills to carry out the first line role effectively.
This course is available to those currently employed in the non-profit and voluntary sector, or those seeking employment in the sector.
