This course is the ultimate for those seeking a career as a professional make-up artist. You will start at foundation level through to bridal & high fashion/photographic, tattoo covering, male make-up, black & white photographic. Students will then progress to make-up for high def TV and Film including straight ageing, airbrushing, special effects, prosthetics, fitting facial hair and wigs.
You will experience the highest level of training, taught by tutors from both Ireland and abroad. Everyday brings a different tutor showing you the latest methods and techniques. All tutors at LA Make-up are working make-up artists who are both in touch and informed on the latest in the world of make-up.
This course is specifically designed for students who are serious about a career in make-up. on completion of this course, employment can be sought in editorial, freelance, catwalk, Television & Film. Students will be taught by top international make-up artists in a creative hands-on environment.
The products used at LA Make-up are top brand products from cosmetic houses such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Nars, Laura Mercier, Lancome, Cinema Secrets and all airbrushing materials are supplied by world renowned European Body Art. All LA Make-up students will be entitled to receive 'pro cards' and discounts from MAC, Make-up 4 Ever, Faces, Benefit, The Body Shop and Bobbi Brown that will enable them to purchase items at a heavily discounted rate for that all essential make-up kit. LA Make-Up has gained the prestigious recognition as a MAC approved training institute.
Throughout the course, students will be provided with professional models from top Dublin agencies and also work with a leading photographer, and hair stylist on shoots. These images will crate the important images for your essential portfolio. You will complete Module 3 with a full portfolio of eight images. We are currently offering all Module 3 students a complimentary USB key where you will be able to store these amazing images.
