At Dublin School of Grooming we are dedicated to providing our students with excellent training in all aspects of dog grooming. Our dog grooming courses offer a structured learning environment that ensures everything you need to succeed is covered. Our tutors are qualified, award winning dog groomers with years of invaluable experience.

We know that sourcing quality training in the dog grooming industry can be frustrating and sometimes seems like your just going in circles. That's why we put so much effort into ensuring you find the answers to all your questions right here.

We offer several courses, from learning to groom your own pet to gaining all the knowledge required to start your own dog grooming business. All of our courses contain a high level of practical work, as we believe that a hands on approach is the only successful way to learn.

The style of teaching at the school is relaxed with each student advancing step-by-step at their own pace. We never have more than three students at any one time to ensure that each student gets the one on one attention they deserve. Our aim is to provide an industry leading level of service and exceptional training to all our students who wish to learn dog grooming.

The school is located in Balbriggan, North County Dublin, situated on the main Dublin-Belfast train line and M1 motorway.

For many, the decision to spend time and money training to be a dog groomer is a big one. Particularly if they are considering dog grooming as a career or lifestyle change.

For that very reason Dublin School of Grooming strongly recommends each prospective student attends a taster day. During the day you will be treated as one of the team and will be encouraged to take part in all aspects of dog grooming.

From greeting customers, handling dogs of all sizes, brushing out, bathing and clipping to testing your breed recognition and much more. Our taster day is designed to give you the necessary experience to make an educated decision as to whether dog grooming is really for you.

Taster days cost €120 per student per day. This fee is deducted from any subsequent course you attend at Dublin School of Grooming.
