Gas Installation
The Register of Gas Installers of Ireland (RGII) has been appointed by the Commission for Energy Regulation as the Gas Safety Supervisory Body (GSSB).
The RGII is responsible for registering gas installers and regulating their activities with respect to safety. This responsibility dictates that gas installers must hold a Gas Installer Domestic (GID) Certificate to register with the RGII.
The requirement for increased regulation in this sector is derived from the high volume of gas appliances and gas boilers currently installed in Irish homes.
Chevron Training, Ireland’s leading training provider, have devised a suite of gas installation and servicing courses which satisfy the qualification requirements for RGII registration. In addition, learners will acquire the necessary skills to competently participate within this lucrative market.
Learners who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding will be able to avail of financial assistance to attend Chevron Training’s FÁS funded courses.
