Independent College, Dawson St, Dublin 2, is among the newest private independent third-level colleges in Ireland.

Its courses include Arts, Journalism, Law, Accounting, Computing and Psychotherapy, with a range of programmes in these areas of both undergraduate and post-graduate level, in full-time and part-time mode.

It also offers a range of management courses in Event Management and in Public Relations.

Applications are welcome from school leavers, transfer applicants and mature students. Application is made directly to the college’s admission office. Two of its full-time degree courses, Journalism and Psychtherapeutic Studeis, will be included in the CAO listings from next year, 2010.

Independent College’s programmes are validated by nationally and internationally awarding bodies.

Independent College is part of the Independent News and Media Group. Internships will be provided for its Journalism students in the Irish Independent, the Sunday Independent and newspapers and in publications in the UK, South Africa and New Zealand.
